Day 1

Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

You will be met at the airport or at your hotel in Nairobi, by our office representative who will brief you deeply about the safari you are about to embark on. You will then be introduced to your driver guide who will be with you throughout the safari. You will then board the 4x4 safari land cruiser and then drive out of the city as you view the country side with a stop over at the equator line which splits the earth in to two hemispheres. Cross the equator and proceed to the northern side of Kenya to arrive Samburu in time for lunch. Have a short siesta followed by an afternoon safari in the reserve with chances to see lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants and also get to see the Samburu special five species of animals namely: reticulated giraffe, somali ostrich, beisa oryx, gerenuk, grevy's zebra among other animals. Return to the camp after sunset for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Exploring Samburu

Exploring Samburu

Wake up to a cup of coffee at 0600 hours and then depart for an early morning safari with a chance to see the big cats such as Lions, Cheetahs and Leopards when they are more active either having a meal, hunting or walking around. You will also get to see other animals as they start off their day. Return to the camp later for breakfast. Mid morning will be spent at leisure, you can enjoy a dip in the swimming pool or just sit outside your tent and enjoy views of animals as they come to drink water in turns at the river located just outside your tent. Lunch will be served in the camp and then enjoy another evening safari in the reserve until sunset with chances to see any animal that you may have not seen in the previous safaris. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Samburu to Ol pejeta Conservancy

Samburu to Ol pejeta Conservancy

Enjoy another early morning safari in the reserve with another chance to see more animals. Return to the camp for breakfast and then check out and drive to Ol pejeta conservancy to arrive in time for lunch. A short siesta in the camp, followed by an afternoon safari with chances to visit the Chimpanzees sanctuary who are close relatives of human beings. These amazing Chimps were rescued from West Africa where they were facing the danger of being sold as pets or killed for meat. You will also get a chance to see a lot of Black and White Rhinos. Ol pejeta is one of the few parks in Kenya with the highest population of Rhinos and you are pretty sure to see a lot of them. Other animals here include Elephants, Gazelles, Impalas, Buffaloes and sometimes Lions, Cheetahs and Leopards among other animals. Return to the camp later for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Ol pejeta to Lake Naivasha

Ol pejeta to Lake Naivasha

Enjoy breakfast in the camp and then check out and drive to Lake Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch. Have a short siesta in the camp or you can take a walk inside the camp which is home to Masai Giraffes, Zebras, Water bucks, Impalas among other animals. Enjoy an afternoon boat ride in the lake with a chance to see different families of Hippos in the lake, pelicans, Cormorants, King fishers, Storks and on the shore of the lake you may see Giraffes, Wildebeests, Impalas, gazelles among other animals. Lake Naivasha also boasts of having the largest population of Fish Eagles in the whole of Africa and sometimes you may see them diving from the trees in to the lake to catch fish. Return to the camp later for dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast will be served in the resort, then check out and drive to the world's famous Masai Mara National Reserve to arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon siesta in the camp, followed by an afternoon safari in the reserve with chances to see Lions, Cheetahs, Buffaloes, Elephants, Topis, Gazelles, Elands, Zebras, Masai Giraffes and sometimes Leopards and black Rhinos. Return to the camp later for dinner and overnight stay.

Exploring Masai Mara National Reserve

This day will be spent exploring the reserve with a full day game drive. You will depart for a full day game drive after breakfast with lunch boxes provided in the camp and get a chance to get much deeper in to the reserve. Masai Mara is a vast 1510 square kilometer. Savannah grassland and no matter where you drive you are sure to see animals. You will also get to visit the mara river which is famous for the migration and river crossing of wildebeests every year between July and September. Your driver guide will show you a perfect spot under a tree where you will have your packed lunch as you view the savannah.
Return to the camp later for dinner and overnight stay.

Drive out before sunrise for a spectacular chance to see the sun rising over the Savannah. This is also a good time to see the cats when they are more active. Return to the camp later for breakfast. Mid morning will be spent at leisure and you can enjoy the hotel amenities such as the swimming pool. Enjoy another afternoon safari in the reserve until sunset. Return to the camp later for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8

Masai Mara to Nairobi

Masai Mara to Nairobi

On this day you will have breakfast, then check out of the camp and depart for Nairobi through the breathtaking views of the Great rift valley. You will be dropped off at your Nairobi hotel or at the airport for your flight back home.
As well as the wildlife, the park is home to the community of Masai warriors. Their bravery is known the world over in their battles with the animals of the savanna, and they welcome you into the culture with traditional song and dance. You have a chance to witness their culture and visit a home to better know their extraordinary way of life. This visit is optional and there is an extra fee of US$30 applicable.
Optional activities on this day can be, half day city tour, cultural experience at the Bomas of Kenya and dinner at The Carnivore restaurant for exotic meals(to be paid direct).
