4-Day Naivasha Mara (Adventure Secrets)

Nairobi - Naivasha

On arrival at the airport, you will be met by our representative and board your waiting vehicle. After an introduction to your driver-guide and a briefing on your safari, you will proceed to Lake Naivasha. En-route, you will make brief stops at sightseeing sites, for example the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. You will proceed with your drive to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch at the camp.

After lunch and early afternoon relaxing at the camp, you will proceed for a boat ride on the lake. The boat ride is a worthwhile adventure that gives you an opportunity to experience the variety of birdlife and take photos of the hippos at close range. You will also have an opportunity to do other optional activities like a visit to Crescent Island, or a visit to Hell's Gate National Park among others (at an extra cost).

Later, you will return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Naivasha - Masai Mara

After breakfast at the camp, you will depart for the highlight of your safari - the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Named a natural Wonder of the World, Masai Mara National Reserve is a must-see for all visitors to Kenya. The highlight is the annual wildebeest migration that happens between July and October. The Masai Mara never disappoints, even if your visit does not coincide with the migration season. You will still be treated to front row seats to the majestically rolling savannah grasslands, picturesque topography, the Big Five, the magical sunrises and sunsets, the beautiful culture of the Maa community and so much more. You can expect a tour of a lifetime in the Mara.

You will arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch and early afternoon relaxing at the lodge, you will proceed for an afternoon game drive. Later, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara

After breakfast at the lodge, you will proceed for a full-day game drive in the park with packed lunch boxes. Your guide will make an attempt to spot all of the Big Five, and if your visit coincides with the migration season, you will track the migration. You will watch in awe and with bated breath as thousands of wildebeest cross the crocodile-infested river. Hundreds, even thousands, will die in the water and be trampled upon by the following herds. Those that are lucky to make it to the other side, will find the predators that will be eagerly waiting to make prey of them. It is a dramatic experience that will leave you speechless.

You will have a picnic lunch in the park at a scenic location. Later, you will proceed with more game drives before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara - Nairobi

After breakfast at the lodge, you will drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the early afternoon. Time allowing and depending on departure times, you can do optional activities in Nairobi. Later, you will be transferred to the international airport or dropped off at a hotel in Nairobi.
