On arrival in Uganda, you will be welcomed and picked by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Entebbe International Airport and be transferred to Kibale National Park. You will drive through Mityana, then the Kyejonjo district, and reach the colorful and beautiful town of Fort Portal.

It is the capital of the Tooro Kingdom, situated in the shadow of the fabled "Mountains of the Moon," the Rwenzori Mountains. You will either have lunch on your way or at your lodge.

After you have checked into your lodge, you head out to visit Bigodi Swamp. This is a beautiful area in the rainforest with an abundance of animals like monkeys, birds, and maybe forest elephants.

Dinner and overnight at Rwengoma Courts.

Day 2

After breakfast, head out with the packed lunches to the park head offices with your guide and have a briefing about the Do’s and Don’ts while in the park with gorillas. You will head out for gorilla trekking through the misty rain forest, trekking can take 2 hours or up to 6 hours and this is based on the location of the gentle giants.

After the trek, you will go to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is a huge park where wildlife and people co-exist in harmony.

You will check in at your lodge for lunch, and then head out for a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. You will see squacco herons, pied kingfishers, large numbers of buffaloes and hippos, basking crocodiles, and many different bird species and large mammals. Over 300 hippos are found in the lake.

In the evening you will enjoy an evening game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you are bound to see several wild animals.

Day 3

Visit Ishasha Sector | Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park | Cultural Interaction

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the Ishasha sector for the tree-climbing lions on the Kasenyi Plains in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth. The Ishasha sector is notably recognized for its resident tree-climbing lions which are an exceptional attraction and among the highlights of all safaris taken within Queen Elizabeth National Park.

In the southern section of this park, the lions are sometimes spotted hanging on branches of huge fig trees.

After the game drive, we move to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home of the famous mountain gorillas. Check in at your lodge for lunch and after, we embark on a community walk where you will visit the Batwa, which is an indigenous group of people that have lived in the forest for 500,000 years. You will enjoy traditional dances and drama from them.

Dinner and overnight will be at Ruhija Gorilla Friends Resort Campsite.

Day 4

Gorilla Trekking | Travel To Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, head out to the park head offices with your guide. You will have a briefing about the do's and don’t's while in the park with the gorillas. Afterward, head out for the gorilla trekking through the misty rainforest. Trekking can take between 2 and 6 hours, depending on the location of the gentle giants. Make sure you carry enough water, sturdy shoes, non-flash cameras, and rain jackets.

At the end of this long and exciting adventure, return to your lodge for a well-deserved shower. Have lunch, relax and thereafter check out in the evening for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. The twisting water body, dotted with 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water, will amaze you.

Dinner and overnight will be at Paradise Eco-Hub.

After your breakfast, you will be driven to Kampala. You will have a stopover at the Equator for lunch in Masaka. See where this imaginary line divides our planet into two equal hemispheres? Snacks, souvenirs and photographs may be taken here.
After lunch, you will be driven to Entebbe for your scheduled flight back home.
