Day 1

Upon arrival in Uganda, you will be welcomed and picked up by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide, who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Entebbe International Airport, and you will be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park.

On your way to Murchison Falls National Park, you will branch off to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking; this is one of the unique activities done in Uganda, the pearl of Africa.

After the rhino tracking, you will be driven to Murchison Falls National Park, your first tourist attraction in the park; The top of the falls. It is an exciting experience that brings you very close to the rushing whitewater as it squeezes itself through the narrow crevice below. The resulting mist from the turbulence often produces rainbows.

You will then go for a short evening game drive on your way to your lodge.

Day 2

Morning Game Drive | Boat Cruise | Birding | Evening Game Drive

After breakfast, you will set off very early in the morning at 6:00am, leave for a morning game drive. You will see different animals, for instance, lions, leopards, buffaloes, waterbucks, Rothschid’s giraffe, oribi, baboons, hippo, crocodiles, antelopes and various bird species.

Other activities in this game drive include bird watching, and sightseeing across the open savannah, dotted woodland and riverine vegetation along the Nile and Albert deltas.

After the game drive, you will head back to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you embark (between 2pm and 4pm) on a three hour boat cruise on the Nile.

This boat cruise offers an amazing view of the falls from the bottom. Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic birds can be seen along the shores of the river.

In the evening, you will head back to the lodge for an evening game drive.

Travel To Fort Portal | Explore The Kyaninga Crater Lakes

After breakfast, you will travel to Fort Portal. You will be driven through Hoima, then Kyejonjo district and reach the colorful and beautiful town of Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro kingdom, situated in the shadow of the fabled 'Mountains of the Moon,' the Rwenzori. You will either have lunch on your way or at Kyaninga Lodge.

After lunch, you will explore Kyaninga. You will have a walk at the edge of a rare twinned-volcanic crater lake. Kyaninga offers spectacular walks right on your doorstep. You can also walk down to the lake through the 'land that time forgot' forest at Kyaninga.

Additionally, you can tour the local villages and gain a fascinating insight into rural Ugandan life. A little further and you can take a walk up to the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley itself and stare in wonder as East Africa opens up beneath you.

After having an early breakfast, you will head out to the park head quarters of Kibale National Park to be briefed about chimp trekking.

The tracking will start early and takes about two to three hours, depending on the location of the chimpanzees.

After the chimpanzee trekking, you will return to the resort for lunch and then head to the Sempaya Hot Springs, a main attraction of the park and the highlight of our safari. At the springs, you can witness water boiling using natural forces. The strength and heat of the springs are incredible, allowing you to boil eggs and cook matooke in just a few minutes.

After breakfast, visit the Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves and the three surrounding explosion crater lakes. This is a fascinating day outing while staying in Fort Portal. A side trip to the Amabere Caves and the three nearby crater lakes involves hiking, learning about the local culture and legends, and enjoying a hike around three crater lakes.

Once you have visited the Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves, your next destination is Queen Elizabeth National Park. This large park is where wildlife and people coexist in harmony.

During your visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park, you can enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lakes Edward and George. Some of the best wildlife sightings take place during a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you spot squacco herons, pied kingfishers, large numbers of buffalo and hippo, basking crocodiles, and a variety of bird species and large mammals.

The Last Day With Us | Equator Stopver | Transfer To The Airport | Fly Back Home

After having a delightful breakfast, you will be driven to the Airport. There will be a stopover at the Equator in Masaka, where you see an imaginary line that divides our planet into two equal hemispheres. You can have lunch, snacks, souvenirs and take photographs here.

After, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your scheduled flight back home.
