Pick Up from Kigali

At your hotel or on arrival at Kigali, International Airport, Rwanda, your professional safari guide driver with vast knowledge of Rwanda Uganda trips will meet you. Shortly after the safari briefing, you'll visit the Kigali Genocide Museum to pay your last respects to the victims of the 1994 Rwanda Genocide. A transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park will follow this.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will then be allocated a gorilla group to visit. You will be led by the park ranger into the forest where you will meet these gentle giants. On your way during the trekking, you will encounter different flora and fauna. Once you meet the gorilla family, you are allowed a 1-hour stay with the group. It is a once-in-a-lifetime memorable moment as you look into the brown eyes of these great apes.

After the gorilla tracking activity, you may opt for a community village walk to discover the unique way of living of the Batwa community people. They originally used to live in the forests before the area was reserved as a national park.

Drive Back to Kigali
