Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After an early breakfast at the campsite, you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater, which is over 600m deep. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area hosts a substantial number of animals, which includes herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and the large African elephant. Another big draw card to this picturesque area is its dense population of predators. The predators residing in the area include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard. It takes a skilled eye to spot a leopard! Next, we go to Lake Magadi, a massive, shallow, alkaline lake at the southwestern corner of the crater. Lake Magadi is home to an enormous number of flamingos, hippos, and different water birds. Finally, we drive to Arusha, where the tour ends.
