Our driver guide will meet you at the airport or hotel in Kigali and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Depending on the arrival time, you will enter Uganda via the Gatuna Border Post or Cyanika Border Post. Pass through gently rolling hills as you leave Rwanda for Uganda, arriving late afternoon to check into your lodge for rest and overnight stay.

Day 2

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and Transfer to Kigali

Wake up early for breakfast to be transferred by 7:30am to the park gate for a briefing at 8:00am. You will join other tourists in groups of eight to start your trek through the thick tropical forest as you search for the mountain gorillas. The trek takes one to six hours, depending on the location of the animals. You are allowed one hour with the gorilla family once you find them. Enjoy the magical experience of interacting with these gentle giants and observe the playful and cunning juveniles as well as the gigantic dominant silverback males. After trekking, you will be handed a trekking certificate from the park and thereafter return to your lodge for rest and a hot lunch. After lunch, start your return journey to Kigali for your departure flight.
