Our professional driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Zanzibar International Airport for a flight to Serengeti National Park's airstrip, Seronera. You will enjoy a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, exploring various tourist attractions. You can expect to see a variety of animals and birds. Among the wide variety of wildlife, you might see lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, and wildebeest. You will get a packed lunch and time to rest in the afternoon. Early in the morning, you will have breakfast and prepare to transfer at around 7:30am from Morogoro to Ruaha. Here you will view various animals and tourist attractions and go on a game drive. Ruaha National Park will have accommodation at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge outside the park, where you will overnight.

Hike in the Udzungwa Mountains National Park and Waterfall View

After breakfast, you go to Udzungwa Mountains National Park to hike and see the waterfalls. You will receive a briefing on arrival and start your hike in the forest mountains. From the top of the waterfall, you can see the enormous Kilombero Sugarcane Valley, one of the biggest sugarcane plantations in Tanzania. In the afternoon, you will have a packed lunch.

After breakfast, from 07:30am until the evening, you will go on a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve). The journey will start from Africa Safari Selous Lodge, where our professional drivers and guides will pick you up. Today, you will see various animals, including elephant, zebra, giraffe, and antelope. You will also see birds and landscape scenery with varied topography, including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest, and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a packed lunch and take some time to rest, then continue with the game drive. Finally, in the evening, you will return to Africa Safari Selous Lodge for dinner, sleep, and preparation for the next day.

Full-day Game Drive in Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve) and Hot Spring

After breakfast, you will do another full-day game drive until the evening. Different routes will be taken from the previous day, starting at Africa Safari Camp, where our professional drivers and guides will pick you up. You will see various animals, including elephant, zebra, giraffe, antelope. You will also see birds and landscape scenery with varied topography, including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest, and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains.

You will visit a hot spring for swimming (depending on the accessibility of the road, as there is mud on the road during the rainy season).

You will get a packed lunch and some time to rest in the afternoon, then continue with the game drive. In the evening, you will return to Africa Safari Camp for dinner, sleep, and prepare for tomorrow.

Bushman Walking Tour, Boat Safari and Transfer to Zanzibar International Airport

You will start the day with morning tea, then do a bushman walking tour in the forest (accompanied by our Bushman and armed ranger). You will then go for a boat safari on the biggest and longest river in Tanzania, called Rufiji River. This river is approximately 600km (370 miles) long, with its source in southwestern Tanzania and its mouth on the Indian Ocean. The river has many attractions, including animals (crocodiles and hippos), birds, and river cliffs.

After the boat safari, you will be transferred back to Africa Safari Camp for lunch and prepare to return to Zanzibar with a 4:00pm flight.
