Day 1

The trip starts in Kampala with a pick-up from the hotel you slept in. Our knowledgeable driver guide takes you through the whole trip. You'll start traveling to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Traveling from Kampala to Bwindi roughly takes 7-8 hours, of a comfortable ride enjoying the beautiful scenery.
You'll have a stopover at the Uganda equator for pictures and the water experiment. Another stop will be in Mbarara town for lunch. From here, you'll proceed straight to the park, arriving in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

After an early morning heavy breakfast with your packed lunch, you'll transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park headquarters in the Rushaga sector for a briefing by a ranger guide on what to and what not to do during the gorilla trekking experience. After the briefing, you will hike into the forest looking for the location of these amazing apes, this may take a few hours or even a full day depending on the location of the apes.
When you find gorillas, you are required to spend one hour with them while taking pictures. It is a worthwhile adventure to stand a few meters as you watch these primates within their natural habitat.
After the activity, you'll leave the lodge for Lake Bunyonyi. You'll arrive in the evening and relax at a resort overlooking the lake. Alternatively, you'll have a boat cruise on the deepest lake in Uganda.
During the boat cruise, you will have an opportunity to visit some of the 29 islands on Lake Bunyonyi and spot various water birds.

Day 3
Transfer to Kampala via the Equator
Transfer to Kampala via the Equator
After a cheerful morning breakfast, you will transfer to Kampala via the Uganda Equator in Kayabwe where you will have an opportunity to take photographs standing in two different hemispheres at the same time and the local water experiment that proves that the earth splits up into two hemispheres that’s the north and the south hemisphere. You will have lunch en route. You will then proceed to Kampala or Entebbe Airport for your departure.
