Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, proceed to Tarangire National Park, where you will enjoy lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive. This park is renowned for its large herds of elephants. During the game drives, you will explore the seasonal swamps, savanna, and the Tarangire River while searching for various animals, such as zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, elephants and giraffes. There may also be opportunities to spot lions stalking their prey or leopards relaxing high in the trees.

After the game drive, you will head to Karatu for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at the lodge, depart at 8:00am for Serengeti National Park. You will drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands and stop in the Naabi Gate area for a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in the central part of the Serengeti, known as one of the world's greatest and most famous parks. It spans over 14,000km² (5,400mi²) and is home to the largest concentration of big cats, including cheetahs, lions, and leopards.

The Serengeti features a variety of landscapes, including sprawling savannahs in the south, hills and woodlands to the west, the kopjes area to the east and bushland in the north. Important rivers like the Seronera, Banagi, and Grumeti also flow through the park. During the game drives, you can spot various species of mammals, including elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, antelopes, hippos and crocodiles.

Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Kenzan Central Tented Camp.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we will depart at 7:30am for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, carrying picnic lunches. We will descend into the 282km² (100mi²) Ngorongoro Crater, where you can observe wildlife on the expansive grasslands of the crater floor. The bottom of the crater is dotted with watering holes and shelters, home to nearly 30,000 animals within this naturally enclosed area formed by the volcano's slopes.

You will also have the chance to see the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros and leopard. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world, surrounded by steep walls that rise 610m (2,000ft) from the floor. It is considered one of the world's natural wonders and serves as an incredible haven for wildlife year-round, thanks to the consistent availability of grass and water.

In the late afternoon, we will proceed to Karatu.

Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at the Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge.
