3-Day Masai Mara Mid-Range Experience

Pick Up from Your Hotel to Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be met by our representative early at the airport or in your hotel. After a short briefing, you will depart heading south of Nairobi, and pass by the Great Rift Valley where you will have a stopover at the viewpoint which is about 2700m above sea level for about 15 minutes taking pictures. Then proceed to Narok for a short break. Later, proceed to Masai Mara where you'll arrive in time for a hot lunch at around 1:30 pm. After lunch, you will check-in and later have your afternoon game drive, if you are lucky you might see the big five in one afternoon. The wildebeest migration is not only a breathtaking wildlife spectacle but also a cornerstone of the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem demonstrating the delicate balance of nature, Fresh grazing lands sustain the herds as predators follow closely leading to dramatic hunting scenes, late in the evening you will return to your accommodation.

Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Mtito Mara Camp.

Interesting Game Drive Safari

Today is a very flexible day. After breakfast, you will be able to explore the spectacular scenic and wildlife viewing in Masai Mara. A full-day game drive is an ideal activity. This is the highlight of the safari because you'll spend a lot of time exploring and looking for the Big Five.

During July-October, the wildebeest migration is one of the most remarkable natural events in the animal kingdom, involving millions of wildebeest, along with zebras, gazelles, and other herbivores. This migration occurs annually in the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. The Mara River crossing is one of the most famous events of the migration. The wildebeest must cross the river to reach the fresh grazing areas of the Masai Mara in Kenya. This crossing is perilous, as the river is filled with crocodiles that wait for the wildebeest to venture into the water.
The herds are also vulnerable to lion and hyena attacks as they attempt to cross.

Return to Nairobi via Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Naivasha on your way to Nairobi. Here you will do a boat ride and a walking safari in the animal sanctuary. Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake where hundreds of different species of birds call home without forgetting tens of hundreds of hippos that also enjoy the freshness of it's water. After the boat and walking safari, your guide will drive you to a nearby spot for lunch.

After lunch, you will be transferred to your Nairobi location or to the airport for your home-bound flight.
