Once you arrive at Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA), you will be picked up and transferred to your place of accommodation. It is important that you let us know your flight details beforehand, as the collection time will depend on the arrival time of your flight. At 16:00 you will meet with your driver-guide for a pick-up to the dinner cruise. Day 2

Day 2 commences with a morning pick-up at 8:30 am from the hotel reception for a guided tour of Victoria Falls. You will be picked up by a driver guide. The experience takes you through parts of the Victoria Falls rainforest to the cliffs opposite the massive cascade. At 4:00 pm, you’ll be taken to a private reserve located approximately 7 miles from the center of town. Here you will enjoy a late afternoon game drive until sunset. Meander in an open, well-kitted 4x4 vehicle through a changing landscape of scenic basalt plains, to the Kalahari sands and teak forests of the Nakavango Private Game Reserve. At sunset, you will stop at a splendid vantage point to enjoy some drinks and snacks, stretch your legs and chat about the afternoon’s adventures with fellow travelers. At dusk, the spotlight comes out to give you the opportunity of seeing what happens at night in the African bush. You will then have a 3-course BBQ meal complemented by wine, cold beer, and light refreshments.

Day 3

At 7:30 am, you will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to Chobe National Park in Botswana. You will go to the Kazungula border where the Botswana guide will meet you. From there, you'll proceed straight to the river where you will spend the morning game viewing along the Chobe River. Tea, coffee & biscuits are provided. All your luggage will be loaded in a back-up vehicle and our driver guide will help you to check in after the full-day tour. The morning cruise ends at around 12.30 pm and you will then be taken to a hotel on the riverbank for lunch. After lunch, you will board a safari vehicle for an afternoon game drive in the Chobe National Park where you will have the opportunity to enjoy an abundance of wildlife. After the game drive, you will be transferred to your hotel and do the check-in process.

Please note: Depending on the previous night’s sightings, the order of the activities might change, i.e. start with a game drive and finish with the boat cruise.

Day 4

Guests will do a morning game drive at 5:30 am. The pick-up time is early so that we enhance the chances of seeing cats when they will still be hunting. The game drive will take 3 hours, which will allow more opportunity to see wildlife which includes elephants, antelopes, buffalos, impalas, and many others. Tea is served during the game drive. After the activity, guests will have their breakfast at the lodge.

We will drive to Elephant Sands Lodge which is approximately 260 km from Kasane. The lodge is located in the park which is home to elephants as the name suggests. On arrival, we will check in and in the afternoon we'll do a game drive either in the private concession or the park, depending on the guide's recommendation.

Day 5

You will arrive at the Planet Baobab Lodge in Gweta early in the morning. You will drive across the vast grasslands, past lonely baobab sentinels to the edge of Ntwetwe Saltpan. Along the way, your guide will explain the incredible adaptations of the species that are unique to the Kalahari Desert environment. After settling into your cosy and comfy hut, you'll take a stroll with your guide through the surrounding baobab forest, while he explains the local ecology, geology, and of course, the unique biology of the baobabs, which are in fact, not trees but, the largest succulent in the world. You will enjoy a flaming Botswana sunset with a cool drink over a campfire as your guide explains the fascinating geological origins of the Makgadikgadi. This vast saltpan desert, an area that is bigger than Switzerland, was once the largest expanse of fresh water on the planet!

You will get up close and personal with a resident gang of habituated meerkats. See how these social, superbly adapted animals interact with each other and their environment. You'll also get the chance to view the desert through the eyes of a meerkat. Despite the fact that it’s only a foot off the ground, is a pretty spectacular vantage point, and definitely one of the most special and memorable game experiences you will encounter in Botswana. You’ll explore the vast nothingness of the Makgadikgadi, a place where the vast expanses of sparkling saltpan extend as far as the eye can see. In the green season, you may be lucky enough to see the zebras and wildebeests of Africa’s second-largest migration. After the Meerkats you will be transferred to Cresta Maun Lodge and you will do a helicopter scenic tour over Okavango Delta.

Guests will do a full-day Moremi National Park game drive. The activity will give an opportunity to see more wildlife. There are more cats, for example lions, cheetahs, leopards, and other wildlife such as antelopes, zebras, kudus, and elephants. A packed lunch is served while doing the game drive. At 4:00 pm, the game drive will end and guests will be transferred back to the hotel.

Today, guests will do the full-day mukoro adventure. The activity will allow an up-close opportunity to learn more about the culture and also the animals that live along the delta waters. Guests will do the tour on a dug-out canoe. The activity enhances the support of the community, as people in the surrounding areas provide this service. The transfer pick-up time is at 7:00 am and the expected time of arrival is 5:00 pm.
