Day 1

Tarangire National Park boasts of being home to Tanzania's largest population of African elephants. Four of the Big Five also reside within the park. After an early morning breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel, for a briefing on the fantastic journey we have planned together as we introduce you to your friendly and knowledgeable guide. You will then depart to encounter Africa’s wilderness at Tarangire National Park with picnic lunches. You'll enjoy a game drive till the afternoon when you will break for lunch. Afterwards, you will go for an afternoon game drive until sunset. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the budget lodge, Fig tree lodge or Ngedere lodge.

Day 2

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning. On the way to Serengeti, you will pass by the Ngorongoro Crater and enjoy the crater view before heading to your destination. The name Serengeti originates from the Maasai word Siringitu and means endless plains. You will see why the Maasai gave this region this name as the grassland Savannah stretches to the horizon in the south and is only interrupted by the so-called kopjes. These kopjes are bizarre rock formations formed by the weathering of granite outcrops. The plains are the perfect hunting grounds for leopards and other big cats. You will have an excellent chance to view these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat through the open roof of the vehicle. In the afternoon, you will have a standard home meal and then later on arrive at your destination for the day. You will camp at Seronera Campsite for the night and enjoy a good meal in the middle of the African bush.

Day 3

Early this morning, you will enjoy a delicious breakfast before going out on a guided game drive. You can expect to see big cats, elephants, and giraffes in the Serengeti. That’s just the start on a canvas of big-sky horizons, flat-topped acacias, and beautiful grasslands. You'll take a break in your day by enjoying lunch in Serengeti National Park. After lunch, you will pack and head for the exit of Serengeti heading to Ngorongoro where you will camp at Simba Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

You will wake up to the bird's calls on another day in this wild side of Africa. Formed millions of years ago by a volcanic eruption, this massive caldera spans approximately 260 square kilometres and boasts diverse ecosystems. The crater floor is a haven for wildlife, home to the Big Five; lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino along with hippos, zebras, flamingos, and more. Its unique geography creates a self-contained ecosystem, providing stunning opportunities for wildlife viewing against a backdrop of breathtaking scenery. After breakfast, you will depart from the campsite to the crater floor as you enjoy a game drive till lunch break then have a transfer game drive as you exit the crater heading to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will depart the campsite to Lake Manyara National Park. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, this park is renowned for its breathtaking scenery and diverse ecosystems. Home to the iconic tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and over 400 bird species, including the vibrant pink flamingos that flock to its soda lake, Lake Manyara offers an unparalleled wildlife experience. Dense forests, grassy plains, and the vast alkaline lake create a stunning backdrop for game drives and birdwatching. Whether you're exploring the groundwater forest or watching hippos wallow in the hippo pool. You will have a full-day game drive and lunch in the park. Afterwards, you will head back to Arusha, marking the end of your tour. We are flexible, our plan can always be customized upon request.
