You will start your odyssey from Nairobi and check in at your accommodation for lunch. Leave for your first game drive starting at 16h00 in search of the Samburu specials which include the beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich among others.

The sunsets are one of the magical moments you cannot afford to miss if the weather permits. Enjoy the moment as the sun goes down on the African horizon before you retire to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

You will start very early today, at 6:15 am. This time in the morning is the ideal time for game viewing. Your safari guide will make certain to search for the elusive leopard, lion, gerenuk, and reticulated giraffe among other resident wildlife. Return to your lodge for breakfast and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

The afternoon safari drive starts at 16h00 when you search for abundant wildlife. You will encounter and learn more about the wildlife species roaming this magnificent reserve. Later, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Samburu Reserve - Lake Nakuru

After spending a night at Samburu, you now head to the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park situated on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. The lake lies 150 km northwest of Nairobi in Nakuru county. Surrounded by wooded bushy grassland, the lake offers a variety of activities including afternoon game drives. You will view millions of pink flamingos that color the lake pink.

The park is also one of the rhino sanctuaries in Kenya and is ideal for bird watching, picnics, and game drives. After checking in at your accommodation, the game drive will start at 16h00. Return to your accommodation when the sun sets behind the horizon with a beautiful silhouette against the dimming African skies.

Day 4

After breakfast, you will drive southwest to the unrivaled plains of the Masai Mara across the Maasai land. Proceed via the Suswa plains with a brief stopover at the Masai town of Narok. Continue toward the interior plains of the Mara, arriving in time for lunch.
The Mara is Kenya’s most renowned game reserve with an extraordinarily high density of animals. The 270-km long Mara River cuts through the Mara-Serengeti ecosystem, offering the spectacle during the annual migration. The highlight of this safari is the instinct-led migration of wildebeests and zebras.
Prepare yourself for a different kind of safari experience where you will embark for the walking safari starting 1630hrs with a native Maasai guide. An African walking safari is one of life's unforgettable adventures following animal tracks, shadowing foraging baboon troop or settling down in shade to watch zebras gather at water hole for an evening drink. You will return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 5

Full Day Masai Mara

Full Day Masai Mara

The second day in Mara will be spent exploring the extensive grasslands of the Masai Mara on a full-day game drive. You will get a packed lunch and a picnic in the wild.

The Masai Mara National Reserve is renowned for being host to the great wildebeest migration from mid-June till the end of October. Millions of wildebeest cross the Mara River every year from the Serengeti in search of grazing pastures. As they make their way across the Mara River, some are eaten by hungry crocodiles awaiting them on the river banks. The great migration is listed as one of the Wonders of the World and is an experience that you will never forget. In addition to this, the Mara is also home to other animals like waterbucks, baboons, gazelles, monkeys, impalas, and Maasai giraffes among others, as well as over 500 bird species.

Later, you will later look for a perfect shade under an acacia tree for your picnic lunch with amazing views of the savannah. We return to the camp at around 17h00.
