Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

The drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park takes about 2 hours. After arriving in Tarangire National Park, we will embark on a day of game drives to the most popular spots for seeing lions, cheetahs, leopards, and classic herbivores such as elephants, wildebeest, buffalos, antelopes, and gazelles. There will be plenty to see!

In the afternoon, you will continue with the game drive until evening where you will have a night game drive at 8:00 pm, the game drive will take you to see noctunal animals. It will be less crowded as other tourists have checked out by this time. Finally, you arrive at a camp that will be less noisy than the camp in Serengeti for an authentic wilderness experience.

Day 3

We have an early start today. We depart at 6:00am for our first game drive in Tarangire National Park. This game drive will go into the later part of the morning when we will check out Tarangire National Park as it becomes busier with tourists and the sun gets warmer. Then, we proceed to Fig Tree Lodge for lunch and relaxation before taking a cultural trip to Mto Wa Mbu. Here we will visit farms and a waterfall and enjoy a bit of cycling. After the activity, we will return to the lodge to freshen up and enjoy dinner.

After breakfast, we will head to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, as it is a transitway to Serengeti National Park. In Ngorongoro, we will stop at a designated viewpoint to enjoy the beautiful view and take photos before we continue the journey to Serengeti National Park. We will arrive in the afternoon, enjoy our lunch, and head out for an evening game drive. We will camp at Seronera Campsite.

After breakfast, we will go on a full-day game drive for your second day in the Serengeti. Today, we will explore areas further away and have an excellent chance to see animals. Later in the afternoon, we will return to our accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6

After an early breakfast, we will do a game drive visiting various parts of the park. We will then return to the camp for lunch and prepare for the journey back to Ngorongoro. We will spend the night at Simba Campsite, situated on the top of the crater, ready for an early morning descent into the crater.

After an early breakfast, we will descend into the crater on a journey to find black rhinos. Rhinos are the most difficult to spot in the beautiful crater. However, there is an abundance of animals to see here on the crater's floor. After lunch, we will do a game drive and ascend the crater to the camp before we head back to Arusha.

Enjoy Tanzania’s great outdoors on this full-day tour to Materuni and Kikuletwa. These locations are perfect for travelers that like to be more active and adventurous and learn about the local culture during their safari.

We start with a hike to Materuni Waterfalls to enjoy a refreshing dip in the water. Next, head to a local farm to learn more about Tanzania’s coffee industry before unwinding in Kikuletwa hot springs. Finally, we will drop you off at the airport in the evening.
