In the morning, you will meet the Yama Ethiopia Tour representative at your hotel lobby or the airport for your connecting flight to Arba Minch. Upon arrival at Arba Minch, you will be transferred to the lodge and, after some rest, drive to the mountain village of Chencha. At Chencha, you will visit the Dorze people. Besides experiencing their fascinating culture, you will see that their houses are built from bamboo, and they cultivate false banana trees that they use as an ingredient to make their local bread, Kotcho.

Excursion in Arba Minch and Drive to Turmi via the Konso Village
In the morning, you will take a boat cruise on one of the rift valley lakes, Lake Chamo, to see the giant Nile crocodiles, hippos, and a lot of water birds. Then drive to Turmi on the way to visit the village of the Konso tribe. The Konso tribe is known for its unique social life structure and practicing agriculture terracing. You will also notice that they developed a defensive building style, where their villages on the hilltops are protected with fortification. This area is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the late afternoon, you will visit the village of the nearby Hammer tribe and might witness a special ceremony like a wedding or other ritual.

Excursion to Omorate and Drive to Jinka
Take a trip to Omorate, and cross the Omo River in a traditional wooden boat to see the Dassanach tribes. The Dasanech inhabit the Omo Delta on Lake Turkana's northern shore. They engage in flood recovery agriculture, pastoralism, and fishing. The Dasanech is Ethiopia's most southern tribe in the Omo Valley. Dasanech lands are semi-arid and are situated where the Omo Delta meets Lake Turkana. The name Dasanech means Delta people. From here, you will return to Turmi, drive to Jinka by car, and visit the Ari village.

Excursion to a Mursi Village and Flight to Addis Ababa
You will enter the Mago National Park and visit the village of the Mursi tribe. The Mursis is the best-known tribe of all the Omo people, famous for a strange custom where women wear lip plates. The origin of this tradition is unknown, but the Mursi themselves consider it something that makes them distinct from the surrounding tribes. In the afternoon, we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Addis Ababa. Depending on the time, we will have a final stop for shopping at a souvenir shop. In the evening, we will have a farewell dinner at a traditional restaurant and experience folkloric dance before your last transfer to your hotel or airport.
