Depart from OR Tambo International Airpot by shuttle to Khaya Ndlovu Manor House in the Rietspruit Big Game Reserve, a stone's throw from the wildlife town of Hoedspruit. It's on the doorstep of Kruger, with a breathtaking backdrop of the Drakensburg Mountains.

Khaya Ndlovu offers luxurious accommodation, with a swimming pool, bar and lounge, day spa and a dining area under the trees exuding a luxurious and exotic ambience.

After check-in and lunch, head out on a sunset safari under the guidance of knowledgeable guides. Safaris take place on the Rietspruit Big Game Reserve. The reserve boasts sprawling vistas of the Drakensburg Mountains, where you can expect to encounter lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and a host of general game such as giraffes, zebras and various antelopes.

After your safari, you will return for dinner, a delicious selection of African-inspired cuisine, prepared by the local chef, served under the stars on the dining deck.

Full-Day Open Vehicle Safari in Kruger National Park

Shinzelle Safaris will pick you up in the morning for your Kruger Park safari. After a short 45-minute transit to Orpen gate, your Kruger Park safari begins. Explore the park by open safari vehicle giving you a full panoramic view of the African bush from a higher vantage point than an ordinary vehicle.

Go in search of all the iconic animal species including the Big Five, with a specialist nature guide, using expert knowledge to interpret the natural environment in every detail. Your guide will frequent various waterholes and river systems as well as other Kruger hotspots to maximize your opportunity to see as much as possible and ensure the scenery on display is ever-changing and picturesque.

Breakfast will be individually packed by the lodge to be enjoyed at a picnic spot. Then we'll continue on safari for the rest of the day, stopping for lunch in between. Return to Khaya Ndlovu in the afternoon, where you will have some leisure time before dinner is served on the dining deck.

Panoramic Tour of the Blyde River Canyon & Boat Cruise of the Blyde Dam

On our 3rd day, we will depart from Khaya Ndlovu for the magnificent Blyde River Canyon. This natural wonder is one of the largest green canyons in the world and is a must-see when visiting the Kruger to Canyon region.

The day begins with a boat cruise waiting to take you on a cruise of the Blyde Dam. This leisurely 90-minute cruise will take you to the Kadishi Tufa Waterfall and give you a different perspective of the three rondawels. The dam and surrounds are home

We continue our day with a scenic road trip to the three rondawels viewpoint, before heading down the canyon to Bourke's Luck Potholes. Once we’ve enjoyed the potholes, we will head for lunch at one of the charming restaurants in the area.

After lunch, we will head back to your accommodation where you can enjoy some rest before dinner is served at the lodge in the evening.

Sunrise Safari in a Private Game Reserve & Return Transfer to OR Tambo Johannesburg

As the sun rises over the African savanna, you will enjoy tea and coffee before departing on a sunrise safari on the Rietspruit Big Game Reserve. The reserve is home to the flagship species of Africa and gives you your last opportunity to soak in the sites and sounds of the African savanna. During your morning safari, you will stop for tea and coffee in the bush, letting you feel the warmth of the African sun rising over the savanna.

After your morning safari, you will have breakfast on the dining deck by the pool, before your transfer picks you up for your return shuttle back to OR Tambo Johannesburg.
