Your Arrival and Journey to Samburu

You will be picked up from Nairobi and be driven to Samburu National Reserve. Accommodation will be provided by Samburu Simba Lodge, on a full board basis. After checking in and lunch, an afternoon game drive will follow which will provide an amazing opportunity for you to experience the park for the first time.

Game Drives Around Samburu

Breakfast followed by a full-day game drive with a picnic in the park or an early morning game drive and afternoon game drive around Samburu National Reserve in search of big herds of elephants, prides of lions and cheetahs that are native to the area.

Heading to Ol Pejeta

You will depart for Ol Pejeta after breakfast, arriving just before lunch at Sweetwaters Serena where accommodation will be provided on a full board basis. After lunch, a game drive around Ol Pejeta Conservancy will follow. Ol Pejeta The conservancy is home to endangered rhino species including the nearly extinct northern white rhino. Incorporated with it is the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where you can see chimpanzees.

Passing by Naivasha

On your way to the Mara, you will pass by Naivasha. You will depart just after breakfast, and you will get to see the famous Great Rift Valley during the journey. Accommodation will be provided by Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge. After lunch you will have a boat ride in Lake Naivasha in the afternoon. Lake Naivasha is home to an assortment of avian wildlife which makes for spectacular views.

The Mara

You will depart for Maasai Mara after breakfast through the famous Kenya food basket – Narok. You will arrive just in time for lunch at Mara Simba Lodge where accommodation will be provided on a full board basis. After lunch, there will be a game drive around the Maasai Mara national reserve in search of the big five: lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalos. Get to experience the various fauna and flora within the reserve.
