1-Day Wonderful Serengeti National Park Trip from Mwanza

• You'll be collected from the airport.

You'll have an early start with pickup from your Mwanza hotel at 04hr30, then drive to the Ndabaka entrance gate to Serengeti National Park. After a short break for breakfast outside the gates, begin the game drive in the park’s western corridor, where seasonal wildlife migrations of wildebeest are funneled through a narrow stretch of land.

The annual migration of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles through Serengeti National Park contributed to the park’s inclusion as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but the Serengeti is also home to four threatened or endangered species: some visitors spot the cheetahs, black rhino, wild dogs, and elephants that live within the reserve, and the 'Big Five' are common here.

Pause for a picnic lunch inside the park at 13hr30, then spend the second game drive—different animals come to hunt, drink, and graze at different times, so the view changes throughout the day. Following the afternoon game drive, begin the return trip to Mwanza at 16hr00.
