Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, we will depart at 8:00am for Serengeti National Park. Our journey will take us through the Ngorongoro Highlands, stopping in the Naabi Gate area for a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, we will embark on a game drive in the central part of the Serengeti, renowned as one of the world's greatest and most famous parks.
Covering over 14,000km² (5,400mi²), the Serengeti boasts the largest concentration of big cats, including cheetahs, lions and leopards. The park features a variety of landscapes: expansive savannah plains to the south, hills and woodlands to the west, the kopjes area to the east and bushland to the north. The Seronera, Banagi and Grumeti rivers run through the park.
During our game drives, we can spot many different species of mammals, including elephants, buffalo, giraffes, antelope, hippos and crocodiles. The diversity of wildlife in the Serengeti is truly remarkable!

After breakfast, we will depart at 7:30am for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, equipped with picnic lunches. We will descend into the impressive 260km² (100mi²) Ngorongoro Crater, where you can observe wildlife on the vast grasslands of the crater floor. The bottom of the crater is dotted with watering holes and shelters, home to nearly 30,000 animals. The volcano's slopes naturally enclose this area, and it is a sanctuary for the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard.
The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world. Its steep walls rise 610m (2,000ft) from the floor. The crater is regarded as one of the natural wonders of the world. Due to the consistent availability of grass and water throughout the year, it is a remarkable habitat for wildlife.
