Pick Up from Airport / Place of Residence - Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Early at 7:00 am, you will be warmly met by our company representative and your English-speaking safari guide at your hotel in Kampala city to meet and greet. You will be briefed about your tour. Then, have all your travel bags packed in the vehicle, and drive to Entebbe International Airport for your domestic flight to Kihihi Airstrip. You will be received by your allocated English-speaking guide for a transfer to your booked lodge to check-in. You'll be at leisure till time to be served lunch, and then an early evening visit to the Batwa pygmy community for the cultural experience. The Batwa pygmy people are the ancient indigenous people around Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. They used to survive in the forest and its wildlife species by hunting small game and gathering plants for both medicine and food purposes. This walk to the Batwa communities will expose you to first-hand information about the park and its wildlife inhabitants as well as about their lifestyle.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Mountain Gorilla Trekking

You'll wake up early at 6:00 am to organize yourself, arrange the necessary equipment for mountain gorilla trekking such as a camera, binoculars, and insect repellants, and get well-dressed in the recommended style for mountain gorilla trekking. You'll have breakfast, get your packed lunch box, and drinking water. You'll meet your safari guide, and transfer to the park information offices for the pre-trekking briefing about the gorillas. You will be allocated a gorilla family and a UWA ranger guide and start the forest walk in search of the mountain gorillas. Meeting your assigned gorilla family could take about 45 minutes to 6 hours. Once you meet the gorillas, you will spend a maximum of one hour with them. You will be free to take as many photos and record videos as you want to keep your memories with the gorillas in the jungle. After the gorilla experience, you'll return to the lodge, have lunch, and spend the evening at leisure till it is time to be served dinner.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Drive to Kihihi Airstrip – Fly back to Entebbe Airport

You'll wake up to be served breakfast, get all your luggage packed in the vehicle then check out of your lodge. You will drive to Kihihi Airstrip for your return domestic flight to Entebbe International Airport where you will meet our representative. He will receive you and drive you to the hotel to have lunch. Later, you'll return to Entebbe Airport to prepare for your return flight. This will be the end of your 3-day mountain gorilla tracking safari to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
