Day 1

Arusha Town to Tarangire National Park

Arusha Town to Tarangire National Park

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi, and you'll head to Tarangire National Park for a morning game drive. This park, situated along the Tarangire River, features low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its diverse landscape is characterized by Acacia woodlands, towering African Baobab trees, and vast swamp areas in the south.

During Tanzania's dry season, the river and swamps become a wildlife magnet, drawing numerous species, including the park's famous large elephant herds. After an exciting morning of wildlife viewing, we’ll enjoy lunch at a scenic picnic spot. Following lunch, we’ll depart for Karatu town to prepare for the next leg of your African safari adventure in Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we will descend 600 meters into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day morning game drive. Known as one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in Africa, the crater is home to approximately 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania's last remaining black rhinos.

Thanks to its year-round water supply and lush grazing areas, the crater supports a wide variety of species, such as wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthogs, hippos, and majestic African elephants. The area is also renowned for its high concentration of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, often requiring a keen eye to spot.

We'll enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the breathtaking scenery of the crater before traveling back to Arusha, or the airport to conclude your unforgettable safari adventure.
