Tarangire National Park is a beautiful park and has a lot to offer! With 550 different bird species, it is a birders paradise. Nowhere in East Africa will you find so many bird species in one area! The park is also well known for its big herds of elephants. Tarangire River, a permanent river attracts many animals especially during the dry season (June-November) this is bringing the park to life with the large herds of elephant, wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, and Grants's gazelle. Tarangire is also a good place to spot lions and shy leopards. The park owes its name to the Tarangire River, which flows through the area.

Ngorongoro Crater

Materuni village, waterfalls, coffee and cultural tour
The Materuni waterfall cascades 80 meters of crystalline glacier water into its basin. You'll see farms growing coffee, bananas, and avocados along the road, all of which are situated in a tropical rainforest. On a clear day, you can see all the way down to Moshi and up to the Kibo caldera.
A visit to the nearby village located among the coffee plantations will round up the program. The Chagga will show you how to grow coffee and walk you through the process of making coffee from bean to cup. Join the Chagga people in song and dance as they grind, roast, and cook the beans. Villagers will provide lunch, a traditional Chagga meal, when the coffee is ready.
