Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a game drive en route to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro. Afterwards, we visit the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world—Serengeti National Park. Serengeti means ‘endless plains’, which describes the park’s 14,503 square kilometres (5,600 square miles) boundary. Yet, for its sprawling area, the Serengeti does not disappoint when it comes to rich game viewing. Even during the downtime, vast herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle roam here, along with groups of elephant, giraffe, and buffalo. As the lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and jackals stalk their meals, we enjoy a picnic lunch in this open arena.

Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti
Today will be the “Serengeti game viewing day” as we start our amazing game drive after breakfast. The great diversity of Serengeti wildlife is evident here—look for buffalo, hippopotamus, elephant, giraffe, antelope, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelle, and lion. You will be more than astonished if you are there during the spectacular wildebeest migration! In the late afternoon, we venture out for another game drive. Everywhere you look, there are animals, monkeys and birds, but look closely, and you will be thrilled to see the magnificent jungle cats—lion, leopard and cheetah—watching the world go by. And go by it does. You will see rhinos, gazelles, antelopes, and massive elephants by the hundreds. Animals in the trees, flying, camouflaged in the bush, rivers, and streams.
