In the morning, you will depart from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for Lake Nakuru via the escarpment. You'll stop at the observation deck overlooking the Great Rift Valley to take in the breathtaking scenery before continuing to Nakuru for lunch. You will have an afternoon game drive later after lunch. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

After breakfast, you will check out and head to Masai Mara National Reserve, which is approximately a 5-hour drive from Nakuru. You will arrive at lunchtime. After lunch, you'll relax and then go on your first game drive at 4:00 pm. The Masai Mara is the world's most famous national reserve for game-viewing.

Masai Mara National Reserve

You will have a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara. The annual great wildebeest migration takes place here in July, August, September, and October of each year. Crocodiles and hippos can be found in the Mara River. In addition, there are over 470 bird species in the park—with nearly 60 of them being raptors.

Day 4

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you will depart at 7:00 am for the Isebania border, where you will meet your Tanzania crew by 10:30 am. After immigration, you will be driven to Serengeti National Park in time for a hot lunch in the wild, which will be prepared for you on the savannah plains. In the afternoon, you will go on a game drive en route to your camp. Your overnight stay will be at the Serengeti Wild Camp.

Today will be spent in the Serengeti exploring the park on morning and evening game drives. Because this is a migration safari route, your journey will be dependent on the migrating animals' movements. You may opt for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater

You will leave after breakfast and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a picnic lunch in hand. This is another UNESCO World Heritage Site in Tanzania's crater highlands, located west of Arusha. This area is named after the world's largest caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater. The stunning landscape of Ngorongoro, with its vast expanses of highland plains and wildlife concentration of some 25,000 animals, makes this place one of the most exotic natural wonders on the planet. Later, you will return to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you will depart at 8:00 am via Arusha to the Namanga border crossing into Kenya with a picnic lunch in hand. After immigration procedures, you will join your Kenyan crew and drive to Amboseli National Park for a game drive before checking into your hotel to relax. You will spend the night at Kibo Safari Camp.

Amboseli National Park (392sq km) is supported by swamp vegetation and harbours elephants, buffaloes, hippos, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, gazelles, wildebeests, warthogs, zebras, ostriches and Masai giraffes. In the background sits the magnificent snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro. The waters from melted snow find their way down the mountain under lava flows and surface on the Amboseli plains in the form of swamps.
