Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

Today, you will be transported from Zanzibar Airport to catch your flight to the Serengeti National Park. Experience an afternoon game drive, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at Serengeti Wilderbeest Camp. Both lunch and dinner will be provided, and each person will receive daily supplies of drinking water.

The Serengeti National Park is renowned as the final stronghold for significant wildlife, boasting around three million large animals. The majority of these animals participate in a seasonal migration, a spectacle of nature's grandeur. Encompassing 14,763 square kilometers, the region's name, "Serengeti," originates from the Maasai word "Siringet," translating to endless plains.

Serengeti national park to Ngorongoro crater

After an early breakfast, you'll set off on a game drive through the diverse areas of the park. Following the drive, you'll return to the lodge for lunch. After your meal, you'll check out and head back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. In the evening, you'll arrive at the Ngorongoro Safari Lodge, perched at the rim of the crater, offering breathtaking views. After checking in and enjoying dinner, you'll turn in early to prepare for an early morning descent into the crater.

Ngorongoro crater back to zanzibar

After enjoying an early morning meal, you'll embark on an adventure to explore the Ngorongoro Crater in search of the elusive black rhino. This stunning crater, often referred to as Africa's "Noah's Ark," is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including lions, hyenas, elephants, and more. You'll take a break for lunch at Hippo Lake before heading back up to the crater rim for another wildlife drive. After checking out, you'll return to the lodge and then make your way to Kilimanjaro Airport for your afternoon flight back to Zanzibar.
