You will be met by a representative of Big Apes Africa Safaris at the airport upon arrival and be transferred to your hotel in the outskirts of Kampala, on a hill overlooking Africa's largest freshwater lake. Depending on the time of arrival, you can choose to have the briefing or have it the next day.

Transfer to Kibale forest National Park and Bigodi nature walk
Today, you will drive south to the jungles of Kibale national park. You will have lunch along the way in Fortportal city and then proceed to your lodge in the outskirts of Kibale forest to check in. You can choose to relax at the lodge or take a guided walk within Bigodi community.

Chimpanzee tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, drive to Kibale Forest National Park a tropical rainforest or you can call it the Primate Capital of the world with 13 species of primates and check in for a briefing. You will later on be divided into small groups and enter the forest with a park ranger. This activity usually takes around three hours including a full hour of their company. You are advised to carry enough drinking water.
After the activity you will have lunch and proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park the most bio-diverse park yet not the biggest with a mammal checklist of 95species and 610 species of birds, 10 species of primates. Here, you will have an evening game drive. You have a chance to see elephants, lions, leopard and many more.

Game drive, Boat Cruise & transfer to Ishasha sector
After an early breakfast, head for a game drive in search of animals like elephants, buffalos, lions, leopard and more. This is the most bio-diverse park yet not the biggest with a mammal checklist of 95 species and 610 species of birds and much more.
After lunch, head to the southern part of the park for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel with chances of seeing elephants drinking water, hippos, crocodiles, water birds and more. After boat cruise, you will be transferred to Ishasha sector famous for tree climbing lions.

Tree climbing lions search & transfer to Bwindi NP
After breakfast, you will have a game drive in Ishasha the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth famous for its tree climbing lions. Your other safari favorites are available too like the elephants, leopard and more depending on your luck of the day. After the drive you will immediately proceed to Bwindi and you will have lunch along the way.

Gorilla tracking and Batwa cultural tour
After an early breakfast, you will drive to the briefing point in the forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to get to be enlightened about your adventure with the Mountain Gorillas. You are advised to carry enough drinking water and a lunch box. At a cost of 15 US dollars, you can get a potter to carry your bag and give you a hand in slippery or steep parts of the forest. After the briefing, you are distributed into groups of eight and led by a park ranger into the forest where you will spend one hour with the gentle giants.
A rain gear is important considering that Bwindi is a tropical rainforest. After gorilla tracking, you could explore the surrounding communities and learn about their way of life. A visit to the Batwa Pygmies, the old people of the forest can be arranged.

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park & Afternoon game drive
Proceed to Lake Mburo National Park, have a game drive on your way in. this is the smallest savannah park but heavily populated. Its gives good break from a gorilla safari or even a fresh start for a safari depending on the route plan of your Safari.
As you drive through, easy sightings are Zebras, Impalas, water bucks and the list goes on. Please note that on a good day you can see a leopard but better still during the night game drive which can be arranged at n extra cost.

Walking Safari and Transfer to Entebbe
Today begins with coffee and a walking safari into the wild L. Mburo in search of wildlife. After the adventure, return to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, you will embark on your return journey. Lunch stopover at the equator and proceed to Entebbe airport to depart.
