Tarangire to Ndutu - Ngorongoro
You will start the day with a great breakfast by approximately 8 a.m. The distance between your Karatu lodge and the Ndutu area is three hours by car at today's destination. After approximately an hour of driving, you will reach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA), where the landscape will shift from steep woods to plain and green grasslands as you go further. When you get to Ndutu, your day game drive will start with a relaxing picnic lunch stop
Over 2 million wildebeests, as well as numerous zebra, antelope, and gazelle, migrate through Ndutu every year. Between December and March, you may see the wealthy on game drives. Hordes of predators attack the hapless young wildebeest during the calving season.
During the dry season, these waterholes, which include Ndutu Lake and Lake Masek, provide lots of wildlife games. Around 5 p.m the action-packed game drive will come to a close. You'll now proceed to your chosen lodging, Serengeti wildebeest camp.

Ngorongoro Crater then Arusha
On the final day of your journey, we'll start early. At around 6:30 a.m., after a light breakfast, we'll start our early plunge into the crater floor. The Ngorongoro crater is the biggest empty, intact, and dormant volcanic caldera in the world. Its floor size is enormous, spanning more than 260 square kilometers, and its depth is greater than 2000 feet.
The big five as well as other species can be found in the Ngorongoro crater. It is the ideal location to see the critically endangered black rhinoceros, enjoy lunch at the hippo pool with a beautiful view of the lake, and see a lot of hippos frolicking in the cold water of the pool.
After a picnic lunch by the spectacular Hippo pool, we'll begin our drive to the crater's top exit. Your safari is now at its conclusion; there is still a four-hour drive to Arusha. We will be dropped off at your preferred location in Arusha in the evening.
