Day 1

Today you depart from Johannesburg's OR Tambo Airport to Hoedspruit Airport. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Imbali Safari Lodge in Kruger National Park for check-in.

Guests will experience absolute privacy within their luxury elevated tented suites, set on the banks of the N’waswitsontso River or the savannah grasslands. Each suite has picture windows and spacious timber decks for visitors to enjoy the riverine forest positioning. Private plunge pools are suspended upon the extended teak decks, positioned to enjoy the breathtaking views.

In the late afternoon, you will head out with your guide and tracker for an afternoon game drive through the reserve in search of wildlife including the Big 5. Savour the rich smells of the bush, hear the shrill calls of the Magpie Shrike and see the wind blowing through the feather grass dotting the savannah plains. Arrive back at the lodge in time to freshen up before enjoying a sumptuous dinner.

Day 2-3

Big Five Country

Big Five Country

Activities at Imbali Safari Lodge include traditional morning & afternoon safaris and bush picnics. An early morning wake-up call starts the day, followed by a freshly brewed cup of tea or coffee before setting off on a morning game drive, the softer light makes for incredible photographs.

Guests will enjoy some of Kruger’s most spectacular landscapes and a variety of wildlife, birdlife, and plant life within the Mluwati Concession, ensuring that each safari experience is unique.

Return to the lodge for breakfast, after which you will have time to relax by the pool, or enjoy views of the Nwaswitsontso River from your private deck. Spa treatments are available on request, these may be taken at the poolside area or on a secluded deck of your suite.

Later in the afternoon, you will head out on your afternoon game drive, which may continue beyond dusk, and return to the lodge to enjoy dinner and some reminiscing about the day’s sightings.

Day 4-6

After one final game drive and a warm heartening breakfast, you'll bid farewell to the African bush as you transfer back to the airport in time to catch your flight to Cape Town.

A friendly greeting and a private transfer from Cape Town International Airport to The Cape Milner Boutique Hotel starts this leg of your tour. The Cape Milner is modern, boutique-style living in a secluded, yet convenient location. It has an eclectic mix of contemporary boutique and old-world charm. During your time in Cape Town, you will discover the city's beauty. With 3 days in-store, there is time to explore the city as well as head further afield.
