On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our Nature in Spirit naturalist guide and depart to Tarangire National Park. It is a drive of about 3 hours from the airport to the park's entrance gate. You will arrive at Tanzania’s "elephant headquarters" where you will be welcomed by medieval baobab trees - very common in the park and documented to be over 1,000 years old. You will have a game drive en route to the lodge for check-in, lunch, and relaxation before you head out for an afternoon game drive.
You will explore the imposing Tarangire National Park, host to more than 500 bird species. Big-game viewing is absolutely rewarding as you have uncountable animals to search for; from giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests to lions. The Tarangire River, the main source of water in the park, tends to draw a lot of wildlife. If nature favors us, you will probably see predators hunting.
Before sunset, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Cultural experience / Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast at 07h15, we depart for a cultural experience at a Maasai village. The Maasai people are believed to be one of the most authentic tribes in East Africa. You will see how the locals go about their daily activities like milking cows, herding cattle, renovating their houses, their culture, preferred foods, and songs and dances.
After the visit, we head to Mto wa Mbu, a small, vibrant village with a unique culture. You will take a walk through the banana and rice plantations, meet the locals and learn how these people conduct their daily activities. You will have a local, hot lunch here, an opportunity to explore Tanzanian dishes.
After lunch, we proceed to one of the most beautiful parks in the country. We arrive at Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive. The park is home to tree-climbing lions. Enjoy the views of evergreen flora, birds, and wildlife. You will head to the lodge and arrive at 17h00 for check-in and to have a relaxing drink before dinner.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast at 07h00, we depart with a picnic lunch for a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. See how this land is used as you see wild animals and the indigenous Maasai living together in harmony. As you approach the crater, you will have splendid, striking views of the Ngorongoro Highlands before you start to descend the crater. It is a self-contained ecosystem, often referred to as the 8th Natural Wonder of the World.
You will spend the afternoon exploring its rich flora and fauna. Since the crater has a permanent supply of food and water, animals stay inside of it all year round, increasing your chances to spot as many animals as possible. You will have lunch in the picnic area and then proceed with the game drive. If you are lucky, you will see the black rhino here.
At around 17h00, you will ascend the crater and drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight. You can spend the evening as you wish as you wait for dinner.
