Guests are picked up from OR Tambo International Airport bus Terminal at 07:00am or a pre-arranged hotel/guest lodge within the city precinct of Johannesburg or Pretoria. The route to the Kruger National Park in the Mpumalanga Province takes you from the wide-open spaces of the Highveld, down the escarpment and through the scenic Lowveld region.
Arrive at Kapama Private Game Reserve at mid-day, in time for a light lunch. Freshen up and relax before it’s time to depart on a late-afternoon game drive in Kapama Private Game Reserve.
Your overnight stay is at Kapama River Lodge. Guests dine in the lodge restaurant or outdoors on the wooden deck.

Wake up early (5:30 am-6:00 am) for hot beverages and rusks before departing for a 3-hour sunrise game drive in Kapama Private Game Reserve. Return to your lodge for a late breakfast and spend the rest of the day relaxing at the pool or treating yourself to a spa session. Depart late in the afternoon after high tea for a 3-hour sunset game drive in the private reserve, with a pitstop for sundowners in the bush.
Our Kapama River Lodge safari package also includes a 30min Back, Neck and Shoulder Massage at the award winning Kapama Wellness Centre. (Subject to availability)

Head out early to enjoy your last game drive in Kapama Private Game Reserve. Return to your lodge for breakfast and be ready to depart mid-morning for the return trip to Johannesburg. Arrive back in Johannesburg late in the afternoon; drop off at OR Tambo International Airport between 17:30 - 18:00 or a hotel/guest house in Johannesburg or Pretoria by special arrangement.
