Our staff driver will pick you up from Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro Airport and drive you to your overnight accommodation in Arusha city. The operations manager will give you information about the adventure the next day. If you have time, you can do the Arusha town tour. Return for dinner and overnight at The Charity Hotel.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire

Arusha to Tarangire

You will be picked up from your hotel at 8:00 am and then take a 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive inside the park. Later, head to the Farm of Dreams Lodge for dinner and overnight.

The location of Tarangire National Park is 115km from Arusha and covers an area of 2,800 square kilometers. Wild animals drink water from the Tarangire River from where the park has derived its name. The park has major attractions which include a large number of elephants, tree-climbing pythons and baobab trees. You will see lions, leopards and other animals.

Day 3

Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater

Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will head to the Ngorongoro Crater floor where you will be able to see all of the Big Five as well as many different species of birds. The crater is also home to black rhinos. You will have lunch inside the crater while watching nature and high concentrations of flamingos.

The astounding Ngorongoro Crater is famous for being the largest inactive and intact volcanic caldera in the world. As a result of a major explosion and collapse about 2 to 3 million years ago, the crater was officially hailed as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa in 2015. The following populations of animals are present in the crater; 7,000 wildebeest, 6,000 spotted hyena, 4,000 zebra, 3,000 eland, 3,000 gazelle, 300 elephant, over 30 black rhino and many other animals like kobs, antelopes, jackals and hippos. Return to Lodge for your overnight stay.

Lake Manyara game drive - Arusha

Lake Manyara game drive - Arusha

After breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara for a full-day game drive inside the park. You will also see tree-climbing lions and many flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. You will then visit a hot spring and a Maasai boma where you will see how they live and learn about their culture and traditions. Later, you will drive back to Arusha.
