Self drive to the Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge from Johannesburg, otherwise a private transfer from Johannesburg can be arranged at an extra cost. Check in and enjoy lunch on the main deck overlooking the waterhole. Settle in before meeting at the main lodge for your evening game drive with a sundowner stop as the sun sets over the horizon. Return to the lodge to freshen up and enjoy dinner in the dining area before retiring to your suite for the evening.

Morning and Afternoon Open-Vehicle Safari Drives

Set off early after hot beverages for a 3-hour sunrise game drive in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve in an open safari vehicle with a professional ranger. Return to the lodge for breakfast and keep yourself busy with everything there is to do at Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge. For an additional cost, you can join a guided bush walk or a game tracking activity, or visit the reserve’s wildlife centre or Predator’s World. In the late afternoon, you will depart for a game drive and return for dinner at the lodge restaurant.
