Tarangire National Park

Program: The safari starts in Arusha, after a brief introduction with your guide you will proceed to Tarangire National Park for game viewing and a picnic lunch, after game drive you will drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, which is the only source of water for the wild animals here during the dry season. The park is famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons.

Day 2
Manyara National Park
Manyara National Park
Program: After breakfast our safari guide will pick you from your hotel/lodge and then proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing and a picnic lunch, after game drive transfer to Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport where the safari will end.
Manyara Park covers an area of only 330 sq km (127 sq miles), of which up to 200 sq km (77 sq miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high. Lake Manyara is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos and maybe even a legendary tree-climbing lion!. At some point during your game drive you should get off your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos here.
