Arrive in Hoedspruit and transfer to Nambu Camp, Greater Kruger Park

This tour starts in the safari town of Hoedspruit with a transfer from the airport to the Olifants West Nature Reserve, a large Big Five game reserve that shares unfenced borders with the Kruger National Park and neighbouring Balule Game Reserve, and boasts beautiful scenery and the Olifants River flows past.

Spend 3 nights on safari at the affordable and wonderful Nambu Camp, elevated above the landscape and built on an old anthill. This owner-run camp has a large deck and fire pit area with a pool, all overlooking the great views and an active waterhole below. The main area has a large lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows, with dining and lounge spaces.

Each of the chalets is ensuite with a shower, air conditioners and tea and coffee-making facilities with private sitting areas outside.

You are required to pay the conservation fees at the Olifants West entrance gate on arrival.

Enjoy twice Daily game drives and bush walks

Enjoy a morning game drive and an afternoon that carries on after the sun has set. Swap out your morning game drive for an immersive walk through the bush, learning about the wildlife of the area on foot and visiting one of the many archaeological sites in the area.

Game Drives: Game drives comprise a 3-hour morning / 2-hour afternoon safari in a Big 5 private concession in the Olifants West Nature Reserve, which forms part of the Greater Kruger. On drives, you'll learn about the flora and fauna of the African bush. Early mornings and late evenings are the best time for game viewing.

Sundowners and Coffee Stops: During the morning game drive, you'll stop for coffee in the middle of the bushveld. Evening game drives always include a sundowner stop and snacks.
