Nairobi - Masai Mara Game Reserve

You'll be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi or at the airport at 7.00 am and head southward to the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley. Proceed to Masai Mara arriving at Mara Maisha Camp in time for lunch. You will relax after lunch getting ready for an afternoon game drive. All the Big Five; rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo and elephant live in this wonderful game reserve. Other animals include zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena and more. The resident birds include the Maasai ostrich, geese, storks, vultures and more. You'll spend the entire evening exploring this magnificent game reserve. After the game drive, you'll return to the camp for your overnight stay on fullboard basis.

Masai Mara Game Reserve

You'll spend the entire day exploring the park in search of the Big Five. With over 450 species of birds recorded here, there is much to see including rhinos, leopards, elephants, buffalo, wildebeests, zebras, warthogs, Jackals, lions, many types of antelopes, crocodiles and giraffes. During the months of July, August and September the reserve is usually filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania). A picnic lunch is served in the park. In the evening, you'll return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay on fullboard basis.

Masai Mara Game Reserve

Full day spent game viewing exploring the park in search of the Big 5. Early morning and late afternoon game drives are offered. You will enjoy a picnic lunch with the hippos and crocodiles at the Hippo Pool. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight at Mara Maisha Camp on fullboard basis.

Masai Mara Game Reserve - Nairobi

After breakfast at about 0900hrs(am) you will begin your 5 hour journey back to the city with game viewing en-route in the reserve. Upon arrival in Nairobi you will stop at the famous carnivore restaurant for lunch. The Carnivore is justifiably referred to as Africa's Greatest Eating Experience. It is an amazing open- air meat restaurant that has a strikingly different food service and atmosphere to any other restaurant in Kenya. Whole joints of meat- legs of lamb and pork, haunches of exotic meat, rumps of beef, sirloins, racks of lamb, spareribs, sausages, chicken wings, skewered kidneys, even crocodile, and other tasty morsels-are roasted on traditional Maasai swords over a huge, visually spectacular charcoal pit that dominates the entrance of the restaurant. Vegetarian meals are also available. After lunch will either be transferred to your city hotel or JKIA for your onward travels.
