Arusha - Serengeti National Park

The safari starts from Arusha city, where your guide will pick you up and depart with your lunch heading off on a spectacular afternoon game viewing in Serengeti. Serengeti offers an exotic game-viewing experience in the whole of Africa giving you an up-close look of the animals. You will spot great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephants and giraffes, and thousands of elands, topis, kongonis, impalas and Grant’s gazelles.

The word Serengeti stems from the Maasai language and literally means endless plains. Many predators roam these vast grasslands; over 4000 lions, 225 cheetahs, 1000 leopards, 3500 hyenas and hundreds of wild dogs! And of course, plenty of other beautiful animals, which your guide will be delighted to search for together with you.
Dinner and your overnight stay are at Kontiki Africa Camp on a full board basis.

Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, proceed with game drive safaris in the Serengeti, exploring the rolling plains of Serengeti National Park in search of large predators and the gentle herbivores, on which they feed. In the late afternoon, we will proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and your overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater - Depart

After a tasty breakfast, collect your picnic lunches and today, you will visit one of the seven African wonders, the Ngorongoro Crater. It was created when a huge volcano erupted two million years ago. The fertile lava has created a unique ecosystem; the crater has the highest concentration of animals anywhere in Africa.

The Ngorongoro Crater is home to many lion families, buffalos, zebras, wildebeests and many more species. And nowhere else offers a chance as good as this to spot the rare black rhino.

After a great day in Ngorongoro Crater, your driver guide will transfer you to Arusha for drop-off at your own reserved hotel.
