Cape Town – Albertinia - Garden Route Game Lodge
Guests are collected in Cape Town and driven to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa and where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. Explore the beautiful coastal surroundings and visit the Cape Agulhas lighthouse, the second-oldest in South Africa and still operating.
Your journey winds its way through the magical Garden Route to a small town called Albertinia, which lies at the foot of the serene Langeberg Mountains. Book into your accommodation, rest, and freshen up before departing for a late-afternoon Big 5 safari tour of the privately owned game reserve.
You will overnight at Garden Route Game Lodge. A buffet dinner will be served under the stars at the outdoor boma or in the lodge restaurant.

Wake up early for a 3-hour sunrise game drive in the private game reserve. This is the best time to see animals and birds in the bushveld. Return to the lodge mid-morning for a late breakfast.
Depart for the return journey to Cape Town, passing the local reptile park and the bustling coastal town of Hermanus, which is famous for whale-watching. Visit Betty’s Bay to see the African penguins, stopping for lunch along the way.
Depending on the traffic, arrive in Cape Town in the late afternoon. Do not book a scheduled flight out of Cape Town that departs before 21h00.
