Day 1

In the morning, depart at 7:30 am from an agreed pick-up point in Arusha town and transfer to Tarangire National Park. It will take 2.5 hours to drive to the park gate. You will enter the park after registering at the gate.

Tarangire National Park in Tanzania is called the "land of baobab trees" and is home to massive elephants. It has more than 500 bird species. In the evening, drive to Migombani Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Drive from Migombani Campsite to Serengeti National Park

Drive from Migombani Campsite to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, proceed on the 4-to 5-hour drive from Migombani Campsite and head to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will have a stopover at the Ngorongoro viewpoint. On arrival in Serengeti National Park, you will have a half-day game drive in the park until the evening, then drive to the public campsite for dinner and overnight.

In the early morning, before or after breakfast (depending on the arrangement with your guide), leave for a morning game drive until lunchtime. Then, after lunch, start a game drive en route to Simba Campsite in the Ngorongoro area for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, drive from the camp to the crater for a half-day game drive in the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa. Here, all the major safari animals occur in great numbers. To see the resident population of black rhinos is a real treat, as rhinos are very difficult to spot worldwide. The crater is also home to some very impressive elephant bulls with huge tusks. At Lake Magadi, you will see large numbers of flamingos. At around 12 pm, return to the camp for lunch and prepare to drive to Arusha.
