Day 1

Your driver-guide reports to your hotel for the start of the safari, with a departure for a picturesque drive descending the Great Rift Valley and onwards to Masai Mara, Kenya's famous national reserve. You will stop briefly en route at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy the stunning views of an enormous valley system said to be visible from outer space. You will arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch. After lunch, you will embark on an afternoon game drive which will allow spotting of the magnificent wildlife in the park. Bordering Tanzania, the Mara is in the northern extension of Serengeti and forms a wildlife corridor between the two countries. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Sentrim Mara.

To get some of the best game viewing of the day, an early start is needed to beat the heat of the sun. Day 3

After breakfast, you will depart from the Mara through the Maasai plains and the Mau escarpments into the floor of the Rift Valley. You will arrive at the flamingo-fringed Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. You will embark on a comprehensive game drive of this scenic park including visits to viewpoints that offer superb photo opportunities. Lake Nakuru is one of several Rift Valley lakes and its ecosystem supports a wide ecological diversity with flamingos (greater and lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Sentrim Elementaita.

You will depart early in the morning after breakfast towards Amboseli National Park with lunch en route. Your guide will take you on an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is synonymous with two particular things—majestic herds of elephants and glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa, Amboseli National Park is one of the most popular parks in Kenya. One of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. On a clear evening, you can catch a view of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro. Also to be found in the Amboseli are herds of wildebeest, buffaloes, gazelles, and many other wildlife. Lions and cheetahs can also be seen here. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Sentrim Amboseli.

Today, you will be treated to a full day in Amboseli National Park. Game drives will take place in the morning and afternoon, allowing you to explore the park and have magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will also see large herds of elephants, renowned for being residents of this park. Amboseli National Park is popular with breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro and reliably good elephant viewing. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here, ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli to wetlands with sulfur springs, the savannah, and woodlands. You can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture. Animals to be found at the park include leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, buffalos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, crocodiles, mongooses, hyrax, dik-diks, lesser kudus, and the nocturnal porcupine. There is also a prolific birdlife featuring 600 species. All your meals and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

The Kenyan coastline is a superb location to rejuvenate before returning home. With almost seventeen kilometers of pristine white sand, cerulean water, and waving palm trees, this picture-perfect beach hugs the shores of the warm Indian Ocean. There are coral reefs to explore, and the sand bars make it perfect for swimming and many other water sports.
