We will pick you from you hotel and start your safari with a drive to the Tarangire National Park. The park, roughly the size of Luxemburg, covers an area of approximately 2,600 km². The landscape of savannah, seasonal swamps and giant baobab trees is home to Masai giraffes, buffaloes, hartebeest, eland, fringe-eared oryx, the weird-looking long-necked gerenuk and over 550 species of birds. But it is the elephants, Tarangire is famous for and the park, where herds of up to 300 animals roam, is probably one of the best places in East Africa to see them and to get close to these giant creatures. After an extensive game drive, you will arrive at the camp, where you will spend the night.

Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will be met at your accommodations by your safari guide and then drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This is a relatively small but diverse park situated 120km west of Arusha. The park’s namesake is a shallow salt lake. It covers a large area of the park, floods and dries with the seasons, and is home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species. During your park explorations, you will see monkeys, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant and, with some luck, lions lounging in the trees. The park is known for its diverse landscapes. It not only has grassy plains, but also primate-filled woodlands and baobab dotted cliffs.
After an extensive game drive through the park, you will head to Panorama Campsite for overnight.

The views are spectacular as you drive up the crater highlands, stopping at the rim for a birds-eye view of the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Large predators including lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas are drawn to the area by this abundance of prey which migrate through the park. Many smaller animals like, mongoose, honey badger, jackals, monkeys, baboons and African hares also inhabit the area along with nearly 500 species of birds. Ngorongoro Crater
Very early in the morning, after a quick stop at the viewing point high up on the Calderas edge, giving a birds eye view of this teeming land of beauty, we descend down onto the crater floor for a full day of wildlife viewing in one of the seven wonders of Africa and most incredible places on Earth. The Caldera, formed with the massive explosion of a volcano three million years ago, is home to 25,000 ungulates and makes a paradisiacal roaming ground for the big five along with over 500 species of bird. After a stop for a picnic lunch near the hippo lake, and more wildlife viewing in the afternoon, we drive up the steep road out of the crater, passing through different climatological zones before our return to Arusha for overnight at your hotel.
