Serengeti National Park
Today you will head into the Serengeti and exploring this amazing park. At the end of each game drive, you will head to your campsite in the middle of the park and enjoy a nice dinner prepared by your chef.
The Serengeti is known for its endless savannah plains and forest landscapes. It covers an area of about 30,000sq km in the north of Tanzania and Kenya, 80% of which is located in Tanzania. The park is famous for the migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and thousands of predators fleeing drought in search of freshwater and grazing. After the rains arrive in mid-April, they make the reserved journey via a detour through the western portion of the Serengeti. Grasslands cover more than one-third of the park and you will find many animals here throughout the year.
