Day 1

Cultural experience/ Lake Manyara National Park

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our Nature in Spirit Naturalist guide and depart to Mto wa Mbu which is about 3 hours’ drive from the airport
Mto wa Mbu lies at the entrance to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its rice and the red bananas plantation, the town is a major agricultural center in the area. You will have an opportunity to interact with local farmers, craftsmen, artisans and painters. You will have hot local lunch at Mto wa Mbu a very good opportunity to explore Tanzanian dishes.

After lunch you will have a short voyage to one of the most beautiful parks of the country, Lake Manyara National Park for the afternoon game drive. Experience views of gorgeous evergreen flora, birds, primates, elephants to big cats.
You will start your journey to the lodge at around 16:00 at arrive the lodge at 17:00 good time to check-in, shower and have a relaxing drink as you wait for dinner.

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch towards Ngorongoro crater, famously known as Eden’s Garden, gives you a dramatic adventurous journey down to the 600 meters which itself is a highlight of the safari. This Multiple land use property which has people and animals living together in harmony will leave you with life time memories of the spectacular beauty you will witness.

After a delicious lunch you will set out back for an afternoon game drive which will take you through the Ngorongoro Highlands, offering plenty of opportunities to spot animals. You may spot antelopes and gazelles, the African elephant and the respected group of animals: the predators like lion, leopard, cheetahs and hyena. If you a lucky, mother nature might give an opportunity to spot the rare black rhino.
Later in the afternoon, drive to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Lake Eyasi, Datoga & Hadzabe Experience

After an early breakfast, you will depart to Lake Eyasi, a seasonal shallow Salt Lake on the Great Rift's floor that attracts hippos who like to calm in its high salinity water.
Your tour begins when you meet a group of Hadzabe people who are always excited to share their hunting skills with visitors.

They are the only true hunter-gatherers left in East Africa. You will have the opportunity to hunt, track wildlife, make a fire, collect honey from beehives and learn a lot about their customs and way of life. Your visit will be worthwhile because you will get a glimpse of authentic African culture.
You will drive back to lodge for lunch and you will have the rest of the day to yourself to rest and self-exploration around the lodge.

Day 4

Drive back to Arusha

Drive back to Arusha

Today marks the end of your safari, however one last adventure last as you overland from the lodge in Karatu to Arusha. On the way you can stop at a local market or gift shop to get yourself a souvenir for the trip. When you get to Arusha, you will have lunch before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport to catch our flight back home or extend your safari to Zanzibar as per plans.
