Picked from Nairobi’s Hotel and transferred to SGR Nairobi Terminus for your train to Mombasa. Arriving in the afternoon, you will be picked up and transferred to Bamburi Beach Hotel. Enjoy your dinner and overnight at the Hotel where you shall be offered top-notch service.

After breakfast, depart for Mombasa CBD for Mombasa city tour where we will visit the famous Forte Jesus, The Mama Ngina Water front, The Likoni Ferry channel, The elephant tusks, Mombasa spice Market, Akamba Carvings (for souvenir), The Mombasa Old Town, Mamba Village and The Haller Park. This is a whole day tour and will return to the hotel for overnight.

Visit to Shimba Hills National Park

After breakfast, drive to Likoni where you will cross the Likoni channel by ferry to get to the mainland, South Coast. The short drive takes you through cashew nuts and palm tree plantations and also gives you an insight into the lifestyle of the local people. Begin game viewing as soon as you enter Shimba Hills National Reserve where you will see some wildlife among them elephants, various antelopes including the rare and endangered sable and roan antelopes. Lunch will be served at the Shimba lodge the only tree hotel at the coast. Shimba Hills Lodge enjoys great views and overlooks a waterhole where you can see wildlife congregating as well as experience the beautiful bird life. Enjoy your dinner and overnight at Shimba Hills Lodge.

After breakfast and checkout drive further south to Shimoni near the Tanzania border. This Amazing sea adventure to Wasini Island gives you the chance to snorkel, ride in a traditional dhow and swim with the dolphins. Enjoy your relaxed scenic drive to Shimoni Jetty – the location you’ll meet your Dhow operators. You will have a full-day excursion at Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park and later have a sumptuous Swahili-style seafood lunch served in Wasini Island restaurant. Thereafter visit the traditional village and the Shimoni caves. Return to Diani Sea Resort in Diani for overnight.
