Day 1

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park. The park is dominated by the lake of the same name, which attracts large colonies of waterbirds. Particularly impressive are the pink-colored flamingos, but also many other bird species such as cormorants, pelicans, or storks can be observed here.

A total of about 400 different bird species live in the park. The park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, which are usually found in the central and open part of the park. During the safari, you will also see elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and many other animal species.
In the late afternoon, you will leave the national park. You will drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Ndutu Area Great Migration

Ndutu Area Great Migration

Today, you will have an early start for a game drive in Ndutu. It is famous around Feb and March for calving season. Your guide will drive you to follow the great migration. If you're lucky, you may be able to witness wildebeest calving.

Due to the huge number of migrating herds is even easier to find predators like pride of lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards. You can even decide to break for lunch within the large herd of wildebeest.
You'll have dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.

This morning, you will travel to the Ngorongoro Crater— a wonderful haven for wildlife. Here, you are likely to experience a range of small animals, birds, and local flora and fauna. Today, you will journey into the heart of this amazing, wondrous crater. You'll spend the full day on the crater floor. Ngorongoro is unique in that almost all the wildlife lives within the crater walls hence you have the opportunity to find game easily. Rhinos can be seen regularly as well as pride of lions and cheetahs. After lunch, you will commerce to Arusha, JRO.
