Transfer from Kigali to Bukavu

Early in the morning after your delicious breakfast at hotel in Kigali, you will be picked by our experienced English speaking driver guide ready to set off to Cyangugu south of Rwanda. He/she will brief you about the safari and you will be driven via magnificent landscapes of southern Rwanda and later have a stopover at Nyanza to explore the royal palace called Rukaari, a home to the king Rudahigwa for an intense cultural and traditional experience. You will have another incredible stopover at Butare town for lunch, stretching and visit the Rwanda national museum which is famous as one of the biggest museums in East Africa which offers more on heritage experiences. After, you will set off to Cyangugu crossing to Bukavu Congo for dinner and overnight.

Gorilla Tracking In Kahuzi Biega National Park

Have a breakfast at the lodge, later you will set off for gorilla trekking in Kahuzi Biega National Park-Congo. This primate adventure is dramatic and offers a chance for tourist to learn the behavior of the lowland gorillas in depth and the mountain gorillas at large. You will spend approximately 1-4hours depending on where these primates are situated and your speed for hiking. You will be given only one hour to strike your imaginations with these unique animals in the wild. After, you will embark on a nature walk around the park trails as you explore and experience the Tshibati waterfall which gives the most stunning sceneries. Later, you will return to your lodge where you will have dinner and rest.

Chimps trekking in Lwiro primate sanctuary

After an early breakfast we will drive to Lwiro primate sanctuary offices for briefing about tracking chimpanzees. Here we will spend up to several hours tracking and observing wild Chimps on foot with your expert local ranger guides who personally know the troop members and who will interpret the behavior. Later transfer back to your lodge for relaxation.

Nature walk and later transfer to Nyungwe national park

Today morning after your hearty breakfast, you will kick start with a transfer to the starting point for nature walk to the falls, your nature walk will expose you to monkeys playing around such as red tailed monkey, black and white colobus monkeys and other species among others. After successful tour, embark on your journey to Nyungwe-Rwanda via changungu boarder reaching early for relaxation at your lodge.
