Nairobi - Masai Mara

Our safari representative will pick you up from the hotel or airport and then depart for Masai Mara National Reserve, with a short rest stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. Thereafter, arrive at the camp in time for lunch, followed by check-in and rest. Later on, head out for an afternoon game drive up to 18h30, in good time for big cat action, witness great herds of antelopes, and enjoy an evening spot of savannah sunset. Dinner and overnight are at the camp.

Masai Mara

After breakfast, leave for a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch. The reserve is well known for its black-maned lions and is one of the few places where you have the chance to see the “Big 5” during an early morning game drive. Many cheetahs are so used to vehicles that they even seek shelter from the hot sun under them, and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded here. These include 16 species of eagle, plus many hawk and falcon, 6 species of vulture, 8 species of stork, 4 of bustard, and 9 species of sunbird. Dinner and overnight are at the camp.

Masai Mara - Naivasha

After breakfast and check-out, have a morning game drive up to 10h00, with the option of visiting the Maasai village. Later, have lunch en-route, then depart for Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake home to hippos and bird species. Arrive at the hotel for check-in and rest. Thereafter, you have the option of a boat ride and a visit to Crescent Island.

Dinner and overnight are at the hotel.

After breakfast, leave for a full-day game drive with your packed lunch in search of the park's popular residents, like the well-known predators and their prey such as zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, hippo and large elephant herds. You also have a view of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest in Africa. In the early morning, there’s a chance of spotting snow on the mountain. Dinner and overnight are at the lodge.
