On this day, your safari guide will pick you up from Arusha and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive with a picnic lunch.
Lake Manyara National Park covers an area of only 330sq km (127sq miles), of which up to 200sq km (77sq miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high. Lake Manyara is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos and maybe even legendary tree-climbing lions. At some point during your game drive you should get off your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos here.

Central Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up from your hotel, and drive you up to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will continue crossing the Ngorongoro Highland up to the entrance of Serengeti National Park, where you will start the game drive. In the evening you will head to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Serengeti is a park located in northern Tanzania and is a World Heritage Site occupying an area of around 15,000 square kilometres, with over 2 million herbivores, 4000 lions, 1000 leopards, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species. This area is with massive herds of migratory wildebeests and zebras during the dry season. However, the North Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife including lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, and the rare Oribi antelopes.

Central Serengeti - Northern Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will go for game viewing heading to the Northern part of Serengeti where you will stay for 2 days. You will move around the area of Bologonja and Mara River to witness the great wildebeests migration.
In northern Serengeti around July to September, thousands of wildebeests and zebras battle the strong currents and huge Nile crocodiles so as to reach the other side of the river, where they head to the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya.

Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Highlands
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up for a game drive with a picnic lunch. On this day your guide will try to cover the best parts of Serengeti Central which you couldn’t cover on the first day. In the late afternoon, you will drive out of Serengeti and drive up to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will stay overnight on the crater rim.

Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will drive up to the gates of Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend the crater. You will be able to see a great number of animals living within the crater including lions, buffalos, zebras, hyenas, antelopes, and if you're lucky rhinoceros. You will have a picnic lunch along the crater lake. After a game drive, you will drive to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
The crater is the world's largest caldera which was formed after an explosion which occurred approximately 2-3 million years ago. The crater floor is 1,800 m (5,900 ft) above sea level, and the area has around 30,000 animals and a great variety of birds.
