Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll be picked up at the airport and driven to Masai Mara National Reserve early in the morning. It continues to be one of the only locations on the planet where animals continues to coexist in almost the same numbers as when they originally roamed the African plains and woods. The stunning seasonal migration of numerous thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and accompanying predators takes place in the Mara, which serves as the northernmost point of the huge Serengeti ecosystem. You'll be there in time for lunch before going on a game drive in the afternoon. You will eat and spend the night at Mtito Safari Camp.

Full Game Drive

We will go on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch after breakfast. The reserve is widely recognized for both its large resident wildlife population and its black-maned lions. It's one of the rare locations where a morning game drive gives the chance to view the Big Five. Many cheetahs are so docile that they seek shade from the sun under people's cars, and some even climb onto the roof to obtain a better view of potential food. Nearly 500 species of birds have been identified, including 4 bustard species (including the kori bustard, the biggest flying bird in the world), 8 species of storks, 16 species of eagles, several hawks, 9 species of sunbirds, and falcons. Dinner and overnight at Mtito Safari Camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi
