Nairobi – Masai Mara NR Tour (Appx: 265kms- 5 hrs)

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your Nairobi Hotel. Hopping into your shared 4 x 4 safari land cruiser/Jeep, we'll journey to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve.
As you enter the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the landscape will become increasingly dramatic. You'll make stops along the way to refresh ourselves and view the impressive features of the escarpment.
Then, you'll head down to the valley floor, exploring the scenic features through Masai country. We may get glimpses of the colourful herdsmen as we approach the reserve. You'll arrive in Mara National Reserve in good time for lunch.
After lunch, you'll set out for the great reserve's expanse and stirring wildlife populations. This is one of the world's significant ecosystems and is unparalleled for its diversity of wildlife.
Your first game drive will introduce you to the variety of wildlife you'll encounter during your three days in the park.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Lenchada Tourist Camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve Discovery

You’ll be up early to view the park’s wildlife, said to be the densest of any park in the region. This will be a day of unlimited game drive.
Be on the lookout for Africa’s Big Five —lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. The birdlife is also abundant. Should you be here during the season of the Great Migration (July – October), prepare yourself to witness the largest movement of animals on the planet.
Primarily made up of wildebeest and zebras, the migrating animals cross into the park by the thousands at the Mara River, which is also the site of hippos and waiting crocodiles. The potential drama here is inescapable as the streaming herds enter these lands for fresh grasses as the predators lie in wait.

You'll enjoy an optional local village visit or take a morning hot air balloon ride over the reserve. Take in the park below coming to life as the fields light up and the wildlife begins a new day on the savannah.
The dinner overnight stay will be at Mara Lenchada Tourist Camp.

Our last safari day in Masai Mara National Reserve. You'll enjoy your leisurely morning breakfast, followed by a scenic drive back to Nairobi with a stop for lunch en-route to arrive in Nairobi by the latest 3:45 pm where the safari ends with hotel drop off.
